Russell is a native of Johnson City, TN. He, his wife Katie
and two sons live in Gray, TN. Russell had enjoyed Southern
Gospel Music at a young age and returned to its influences as
an adult. He has fond memories of watching the Gospel Singing
Jubilee on Sunday mornings as a child. Decades later and upon
borrowing a Cathedrals' cassette, Russell was hooked on
Southern Gospel Music. Russell is co-manager and sings
lead with the local quartet, Majestic Heights. Russell
teaches art at Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN. Teaching
and creating art is Russell’s first love.
